Tamara Dyke -Compton, an Arizona native began dancing at Stagedoor Dance Center at the age of 3. She has studied all forms of dance but her favorites remain ballet and contemporary. She has her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Julliard School in New York City. She performed on the 1st National Broadway tour of “Movin’ Out” for 3 years and worked with the famed choreographer, Twyla Tharp.
She also worked on the 1st Broadway musical “Fame“, “Crash and Burn“ an MTV music video for the group “Savage Garden“, a Reebok Industrial film, and has danced for such names as Robert Battle, and Aszure Barton.
Her choreography has been performed at the Julliard Theater, The Clark Studio Theater at Lincoln Center, the Jazz World Congress, Ballet Jazz de Montreal, Tokyo Japan Industrials, and by numerous dance studios throughout the USA and Canada.
